The Resin Guard
To preserve the life of your brass mesh, we recommend lining the screen with a small piece of aluminum foil before adding resins. This prevents melting resins from sticking to or leaking through the perforations, ensuring a cleaner burn and effortless maintenance.

Atmospheric Control
Height is your temperature regulator. When your candle is new and the flame is at its peak, start with the adjustable arm at its highest position. As the candle burns down and the flame decreases, you may wish to carefully lower the arm to maintain a consistent, steady heat.

The Oil Basin
When using the brass bowl for essential oils, add a small amount of water before adding your drops. This prevents the oil from scorching and allows for a gentle, balanced diffusion. Monitor the water level periodically, as it will naturally evaporate over time.

Safe Adjustment
We have specifically selected this model with a wooden handle to reduce heat transfer to the adjustment screw. However, brass is a powerful conductor of heat. Always handle the burner with the utmost care when adjusting the height to prevent tilting or accidental burns.

The Wax Guard
To protect the intricate brass base, refrain from blowing out the candle. This prevents molten wax from spilling over the detailed metalwork. We recommend using a snuffer or carefully dipping the wick into the wax pool to extinguish the flame cleanly.

Bowl Maintenance
After diffusing oils or powders, wipe the brass bowl with a paper towel, or give it a quick rinse and dry immediately. It is normal for the brass to develop a natural tarnish with use; this patina is a characteristic of the metal’s history and does not affect its performance.

Recycling Tip While the screen is ideal for certain types of incense like bakhoor, you can easily repurpose the aluminum case from a consumed votive candle to burn resins.
